Celebrate this important milestone at the Vandal Family Send-Off—a meaningful moment for students and families to say goodbye, reflect on the journey ahead, and feel the support of the Vandal community. We’ll mark the start of this new chapter with the traditional Vandal Family “V” photo.

4 – 5:30 p.m. – Paint, Plants & Pop with University Advising Team

Join the U of I’s academic advisors for a creative, hands-on break! Grab your voucher and head to the Soda Spout for a free hand-crafted soda, then decorate a pot and plant a new green friend in a relaxed, social atmosphere. No experience
needed—just bring your creativity and enjoy the fun!

Join the Department of Student Involvement and Vandal Entertainment for a showing of “Anaconda” at dusk. Seating opens at 7:30 p.m. —bring your blankets, chairs and favorite snacks from home. This free event is open to all students!

10 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. – Target Shopping
Moscow Target
Housing and Residence Life invites students to a special after-hours shopping night at Target in Moscow—just for Vandals! Enjoy exclusive access to the store, along with games, prizes and great shopping deals. Free transportation will be available from the LLC Bus Stop, Wallace Residence Hall, Bruce M. Pitman Center and various stops along Greek Row.

Activities include dodgeball, volleyball, basketball, climbing, yard games and destress activities in the Well Space. This event is free and open to all new University of Idaho students.

Join other new Vandals in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome for the "I" photo, meet with some great campus leaders then follow the UI Marching Band to the Academic Mall for a relaxing Welcome BBQ.
